SCCAN has been selected to be part of the COP26 Green Zone programme. We will have a one-day exhibition stall at the Green Zone for our “We are the Net-Zero Nation” Member Space on Friday 12th November!
COP26 can provide a real opportunity to engage a wide public. The Scottish Government could use it to signal its over-riding focus on building a wellbeing economy, fundamentally shifting the conversation to discussion about how we can ensure wellbeing for all in a much more equal society that prioritises regenerating our environment, rapidly stops our exploitation of the global south and which is upfront and honest in recognising the truth about our legacy and culpability for the crises we face globally.

UK GREEN FILM FESTIVAL
3-14 NOVEMBER 2021.
Bringing the best green documentaries to audiences across the country.
Four of the five films in the festival are being shown at Eden Court in Inverness, on Wednesday and Thursday 3 and 4 and Friday and Saturday 12 and 13 November, as part of the theatre's 'Climate of Hope' programme leading up to the COP26 climate conference..
Taking us deep undercover into the billion-dollar timber mafia is Wood, whilst Now meets with a new wave of climate rebels fighting for the future and Nuclear Forever investigates mankind’s dream of atomic energy. In Journey To Utopia, one family decides to take a giant leap of faith under the shadow of climate change.
